Ryan Weaver is a serial killer. He is convicted to raping and strangling five women to death in the los angeles area. He got arrested for that however escaped while being transported to san quentin state prison. He was then found in New York city by Lieutenant Hines and has to be transported to LA on a 747. He later on takes the plane hostage and strangles Maggie a flight attendent to death. He later on falls in love with Teri another flight attendent intending to murder her but Teri realizes he really is a serial killer and shoots him at the end of the movie hence she believes in capitol punishment
