A Republican senator from California, where grew up in an orange grove farming community, Arnold Vinick is his party's nominee for President of the United States against Democrat Matt Santos. Known for some of his more moderate stances on hot-button social issues, he is nevertheless an ardent conservative when it comes to other high-profile issues like spending and border security. He is a graduate of Yale and Stanford and a widower.
