Donna does not initially tell her mother about her travels. As a result, she has a difficult relationship with the Doctor, whom she resents for taking her daughter away. Born Sylvia Mott, she was the daughter of Eileen and Wilfred Mott, the wife of Geoff Noble and mother of Donna Noble.
