Tina (Amanda Wyss) is afraid to go to sleep because the other night she had a dream about a man in a dirty Christmas sweater and knives for fingers. But despite her fear, she falls asleep. During her dream, rocks are thrown at her window until the window is cracked. Tina goes outside to investigate. She wanders into a dark alley when a voice calls her name. She turns around to see the man from her previous dream, Freddy Krueger (Robert Englund). He stretches his arms across the alley and scratches the walls, making a shrill sound. Tina runs, but is cut off by Freddy. She turns around and goes through a door in the fence. But Freddy comes from behind a tree and gets Tina's attention. He chops off his own fingers, just to scare Tina even more. Tina runs to the house but the door is locked. Open the door! she yelled as she was attacked by Freddy. He grabs her and throws her to the ground.Meanwhile, in the real world, Rod (Nick Corri), who was sleeping next to Tina, is awoken by Tina's screaming in her sleep. But Freddy is invisible to him. He watches as Tina is lifted into the air and is scratched repeatedly. After Tina is drenched in blood, her cries for help turn to silence, and she drops to the bed. Tina is dead.
