Trick is the bartender of the snazziest Light Fae pub in town, The Dal Riata, which is named after the ancient Gaelic kingdom which crossed Scotland and Ireland. He is very powerful, and in season 1 it was revealed that Dyson reported to him, and his work for the Light Fae was just a cover. In the pilot episode he spoke to The Morrigan and The Ash as equals.****SPOILER BELOW ALERT*****In season 2, it is revealed Trick is in fact Bo's grandfather (and he was Aoife's father), but does not know who Bo's father was. Trick also has a big secret (that only a handful of people know) in that he is the Blood King , the architect of the laws between the Dark and the Light. In the finale of season 2, the Garuda's endgame is to undo the laws Trick wrote, and thus creating chaos and death in the Fae world (which the Garuda feeds on).
