Adalind is initially intent on killing Marie Kessler, aunt of homicide detective and Grimm Nick Burkhardt -- and later cozies up with Nick's partner on the force, Hank Griffin. Adalind is poised and graceful, but also fairly described as treacherous, seductive, manipulative, uncaring and vain -- going to great lengths to preserve her beauty (in her human disguise at least).Her mother is Catherine Schade, also a Hexenbiest.
