He was trained by Jeong Jeong to become a master firebender and he uses his skills to try to capture Avatar Aang.He is a chief rival of Zuko when he is also on the trail of the Avatar.Background: He learns about the mortal incarnations of the Moon and Ocean Spirits of the Water Tribe from scrolls in a hidden underground Spirit Library and becomes obsessed with the idea of ending waterbending so that firebenders could flourish.
