During Season 2 of The Royals , Agent James Hill is the new, older and maturer security detail attached to Princess Eleanor. He use to work for Scotland Yard before becoming Princess Eleanor's security detail. He tries to help the Princess improve and change her life for the better, almost like a paternal guardian. He does so in subtle and non-confrontational ways, which Eleanor finds amusing but also takes his advice into consideration.
