Mitchell is a teacher, church deacon, husband and father of two. Mitchell has a rather unique personality, switching rather dramatically from caring older family man to something much more violent and monstrous. Dexter comes in contact with Mitchell while investigating the notorious Trinity murders, the one case that Agent Lundy could never quite solve. When Mitchell was very young he witnessed the accidental death of his sister in the shower. Soon after his mother committed suicide and Mitchell's father became an abusive alcoholic.
