Audrey Raines serves as an Inter-Agency Liaison for the U.S. Department of Defense who is assigned to the Counter Terrorist Unit based in Los Angeles. Her personal life is marked by tragedy, as her mother died when she was just a young girl. She went to earn a degree in English from Yale University and a graduate degree in Public Policy from Brown University and, afterward, went to work for her father, former Secretary of Defense James Heller. She works very closely with agent Jack Bauer and is committed to his safety, well-being and even outside-of-work happiness.
