Benny Fazio is first seen in season three after the witness bailed on his case. He works under Chris Moltisanti as a soldier in the Sopranos crew. When Tony tells Chris to call of the hit on Carmine Lupertazzi, it is Benny who takes care of the only people who know about it. While Tony Blundetto is on the run from Phil Leotardo, Benny takes a severe beating when he is unable to tell Phil his location. Tony implies to Benny in the hospital that he is going to be made soon. In season six, Benny takes another painful beating from Artie when Benny seems to have a relationship with Artie's hostess Martina. After this, Benny is able to steer clear of any injuries for the rest of the series.
