Carmela Carm Soprano is a greedy and materialistic housewife with a horrible shrill voice and poor taste in clothes. She pretends to be religious but her greed fuels husband Tony's murderous activities. She tries to have sex with her priest and later sleeps with her son's school teacher for money. Carm has two friends. She goes to Paris and pretends to be enlightened. She likes to cook baked ziti and squawk in her horrible voice.Carmela is a character so full of contradiction she can almost be taken as comical. eg. religious woman who considers sleeping with her priest
