One of the 12 that escaped from Manticore, Brin was in hiding just like the rest of them, but when she got sick, she got captured again and brainwashed to become once again, a 1 track minded killing machine, and on a new mission, to find and capture or kill the rest of the escapee's, or in her mind 'Traitors'.
