In Troy (2004), Briseis is the younger female cousin of Trojan prince brothers Hector and Paris. She chooses to become a priestess of Apollo, breaking the hearts of the men of Troy according to her Uncle. She is eventually captured by Achilles and beseeches him to non-violence with words, but fails to do so.
