A former member of the British Embassy, Carly met Sam Witwicky after he received a medal from President Barack Obama for his services. The two started dating soon afterwards. Carly also soon found herself being hired away from her Embassy, and going to work for the Hotchkiss-Gould accounting firm.Carly allowed Sam to stay with her, though allowed some consolations to him keeping smaller Transformers on the premises.
