Dana is a single woman living in a haunted apartment. The only persons that she has in her life is her mother that calls her in one occasion, and her short neighbour(played by Rick Moranis) that is just crazy about her. One day, she's in the kitchen when suddenly eggs jumps out of the case and starts to fry themselves. She then a hears a terrifying noice coming from the fridge and when she looks inside she sees a monster. Seeing no other way, she seeks for the Ghostbusters' help and she's immediately introduce to Dr. Peter Venkman(Bill Murray's character). He gets crazy for her, and this makes him say silly things and act strange. After that, she's scared with him too. After some days she comes back to her apartment again but only to be possessed by an evil spirit. And Peter Venkaman is the only one that can helps her and in the end turns out that he really does.
