Eric is a cocky member of the Midnight Society. He is only shown telling a little more two stories, but all seem to be about incredibly powerful evil forces (ones never proved innocent or misunderstood like some others'). He is the only Midnight Society member to tell an incomplete story - before The Tale of the Twisted Claw , he left one unfinished whose beginning wasn't shown about a hooded horrifying nightmare character appearing after the protagonist awoke, saying he had storyteller's block and would resolve it later. If he did, it wasn't seen.Eric is of Irish descent. He loves to tease and torment the other Midnight Society members, especially Kristen and Frank (though he and Frank seem to get along at least well enough to spend some time together). He revealed to the others that Frank feared the dark, though Frank found out (and the others suspected) he secretly did too. He is the only Midnight Society member who is never mentioned after he leaves, presumably having moved as others later did, or to receive a replacement.
