Glenn Childs becomes the State's Attorney following Peter Florrick's public scandal. He is Peter's main political rival in the first two seasons and not only wants to keep Peter in prison on ethics charges, but also wants to destroy him generally. His animosity for Peter knows almost no limits.He later attempts to use Cary Agos' connections to Stern, Lockhart & Gardner to gather dirt on Peter. He relishes any chance he has to go against Alicia Florrick or someone from her firm in court.
