Herbert Love is a right wing politician running for a California seat in Congress against Lucille Austero. George Bluth Sr. tries to bribe him to support a wall between US and Mexico, thinking it will be built on land he owns. Environmental activist Marky Bark, who is dating Lindsay Bluth at the time, tries to make a public political statement against Love. Lindsay becomes interested in both Love and his politics - with an interesting assist from her daughter, Maeby - despite her history of believing herself to be a left-wing liberal.
