Lucille Austero is Lucille Bluth's best friend and social rival and, later, Buster's girlfriend. She lives next door to Lucille and Buster in the Balboa Towers, which creates problems for Buster when he attempts to hide from her. Lucille Bluth is fond of reminding Austero that her husband is dead, while pretending to offer sympathy.She and Buster begin dating after he bids on the wrong Lucille at a charity auction. Their relationship is fraught with Oedipal overtones. She also has romantic entanglements with G.O.B. and (why not?) frugal actor Carl Weathers. Lucille later plays a role in the future of the Bluth Company.Background: She has a bad case of vertigo and often falls down, trips or clings to stationary objects for dear life. She is referred to as Lucille Two. She is part owner of the rehab clinic Austerity, which is run by her brother Argyle Austero.
