Iago is a character from the Disney movie Aladdin . He is Jafar's pet, and intelligent parrot that can mimic any voice.In Aladdin , he mostly does Jafar's dirty work and comments on the action. At the end, he steals the Genie's magic lamp and gives it to Jafar.In The Return of Jafar , after Jafar was turned into a genie, Iago realized the error of his ways. He reformed, and became one of Aladdin's friends. In the ends, he kills Jafar by throwing his lamp into the hot lava.In Aladdin: The Series , he tags along Aladdin and his friends on their many adventures, often looking for treasure.
