Icheb is a neo-natal Borg drone liberated by Seven of Nine, among others, from a damaged Borg vessel. Icheb is Brunali, and his parents specifically changed his genetic code to use him as a weapon against assimilation from the Borg. Icheb stays aboard Voyager and eventually attends Starfleet Academy via correspondence. His intellect and many talents and fit in well with the crew, especially when assisting Seven of Nine in the astrometrics lab.
