Jetfire is a Transformer soldier in the heroic Autobot army. He generally transforms into a plane.1984 cartoon (G1) - Jetfire (credited as Skyfire) was a scientist and former friend of Starscream. He ended up buried in the Arctic region for centuries, until Starscream, now a member of the Decepticons, found and revived him. He later realized Starscream had turned evil and left the Decepticons for the Autobots, serving as their aerial transport. He transformed into a VF-1S Super Valkyrie jet.The 2002, 2004 and 2005 cartoons (Unicron Trilogy) - Jetfire was Optimus Prime's second in command. He often spoke with an Australian accent and transformed into a variety of aircraft: a space shuttle, an alien jet, and an Antonov 225 carrier jet.2007 cartoon (Animated) - he was the twin brother of Jetstorm, who stood together as young cadet soldiers. Both were fitted with flight capabilities and super powers; Jetfire wielded fire while Jetstorm wielded cold. Both spoke with a Russian accent and transformed into a futuristic jet, and both jets could combine to form the combiner Safeguard.2009 film (ROTF) - he was a servant of the Fallen, who abandoned him on Earth. He was stranded on Earth throughout its history, and had become a very old senile robot by the time he was called back into service to help the Autobots. He spoke with a British accent and transformed into a SR-71 Blackbird jet.
