John Winston Lennon was born on the 9th of October, 1940, in Liverpool, England, UK. From 1962 to 1970, John was the lead vocalist and rythm guitarist for The Beatles , a rock/pop group, he had formed, along with his friends, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. They were the most succesful music act in history. When John left the Beatles, he formed a group, called Plastic Ono Band . John had long, light brown hair, a short, light brown beard, and small eyes.
