Long-time Girlfriend of Kirk Gleason, Lulu originally dated one of Kirk's brothers, but one day agreed to go out with Kirk. Unlike Kirk's other dates, Lulu did not use the times he went to the restroom on their first date as a chance to ditch him; she truly enjoyed spending time with him. They quickly become a steady couple and stay together through thick and thin.Lulu teaches third grade in Stars Hollow and tries to get other townspeople involved in school activities, such as when she gets Luke to help build sets and Lorelai to make costumes for the third grade production of Fiddler on the Roof. Lulu was all set to play the woman of questionable morals in the newest Stars Hollow Historical Reenactment when she got sick, leaving Kirk to fill in for her with hilarious results. She grows to mother Kirk a bit, and loves the color pink.
