Mark David Chapman was the nobody who murdered the Beatle John Lennon. He has stated that the only reason he killed him was to become famous. He has been portrayed by Jared Leto, and Jonas Bell to scary reality. Unfortunately in every portrayal, as in real life, the murder is carried out and Chapman is made more famous for his killing of the famed singer. Chapman is currently still serving his life sentence in prison
