Ronald Marshall is a wealthy real estate developer who lives in Gotham City. A big, square man, Marshal plays at being gererous although, in truth, he is a cruel, greedy man. He hires the assassin Deadshot to murder well-known Gotham philanthropist Teresa Williams so that he can aquire the contract to develop a part of the slum known as Hob's Oven that she would have converted into low-to-moderate-income co-ops for city workers and the area's poor. Marshall would have built an upscale sports complex to include a driving range and tennis courts--and a modest mission center to aid the homeless that his plan would displace.
