Max Braverman (Max Burkholder)Max Braverman is the son, and youngest child, of Adam and Kristina Braverman.Adam and Kristina have always known that Max is different but with a recent diagnosis of Asperger's Syndrome now they have a name for it.Max is generally sweet-natured and is very intelligent and curious. But he has very specific habits and needs and doesn't always understand other people's emotional responses to people and events. When his habits and needs are disrupted he has trouble understanding why and can act out in anger.Because of his behavior Max is often the focal point of the family, as they work to help him work within the parameters of what is accepted, struggling and succeeding. Because of this, somewhat less attention is paid to his older sister Haddie.
