Mohinder Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy)Is an Indian geneticist hailing from Madras, where he teaches at the University of Madras. He is intrigued by the paranormal and has a degrees in parapsychology.He has been following in his father Chandra's footsteps and when Chandra dies under mysterious circumstances Mohinder goes to New York City to investigate.
