Nick, played by real-life comedian Nick DiPaolo, is a fictionalized version of the real guy and one of the comedians Louie hangs out with on a regular basis. While they are good friends, Louie and Nick have had some tense moments, including a politically charged argument that resulted in them having a physical altercation.
