Officer Taylor is a Newport Beach police officer who frequently is called to investigate the Bluth's various shenanigans, which usually end up making Michael look guilty. He is very close to his partner, Officer David Carter. Among the cases they investigate are: the disappearance of Kitty, the escape of George Sr. from prison and the harassment of Maggie Lizer.
