Principal H. James Kwan is the new principal at Smallville High. He was attacked by the football Coach when his car burst into flames while he was in it. He tried to shut down Chloe's work with the Torch when she printed to much about the meteor rocks and their effect on people in her articles, and for a while Lana ran the newspaper. Then when student Justin Gaines suspects that he ran him over with his car, he is confronted by Justin as accused of the crime. Justin used telekinesis to killed Principal Kwan with his own car.
