He transformed into a tiger.1996 cartoon (Beast Wars) - Rampage was originally known as Protoform X, a scientific experiment gone horribly wrong. He was an unkillable psychotic who destroyed many lives and worlds; his rival Depthcharge hailed from Omnicron, one of those worlds. He was kept imprisoned within a special pod aboard the Maximal ship, but when the ship crashed on Earth he was set free. He was forced to join the Predacon ranks by Megatron, who gave him the name Rampage and removed half his spark, using it to torture Rampage whenever he stepped out of line.
