Richard Haibach was a convicted pedophile and a suspect to be the San Joaquin Killer. He was on Jane's false list of Red John suspects, which was stolen by Bob Kirkland. Kirkland kidnapped and tortured haibach, cutting off his thumb. Haibach blamed Jane and plotted with his sister to get revenge. The conspiracy resulted in the deaths of Osvaldo ardiles, and J.J. LaRoche., and the kidnapping of Grace Van Pelt. Haibach was ultimately killed by Rigsby.
