Accepted as a Bajoran who has joined the Maquis, she becomes romantically linked to leading rebel Chakotay -- and thrust into the lives of the crew of the U.S.S. Voyager when it is stranded in the Delta Quadrant along with the Maquis vessel. Seska is close friends with half-human, half-Klingon B'Elanna Torres. She is also not at all fond of the Federation, Starfleet or the mighty principles and rules shared by both -- an opinion she is not afraid to voice.
