Shalon was an alien physician and cybernetics expert introduced in The Six Million Dollar man. Her planet of origin was never specified; she was one of a number of aliens who had been on Earth at least two years. She was responsible for the legends of Bigfoot (sasquatch, as American Indians called it), an enormous humanoid which she enhanced with bionics (which her race called nyasynthetics). Presumably, she made Bigfoot from some creature native to her own world, but this was never made clear. In her first appearance she studied Steve Austin, as his bionics interested her. In a subsequent appearance, she helped Steve and Jaime Sommers (the Bionic Woman) deal with renegades from her own world. These beings had enslaved her creation Bigfoot and were using it to steal supplies they needed to produce technology from their world, part of a long term plan of aggression against Earth.
