Tate is an unstable young man who is introduced to the Harmons as a patient of Ben's. He has fantasies about murdering his classmates and shows other violent tendencies. He has an emotionally cruel streak as well, and mocks his doctor for his past infidelities. He seeks out Violet and forms a relationship with her, but displays unstable traits that worry her parents. Also shows an interest in Vivien. He's sullen and angry and has a bad relationship with his mother, Constance Langdon. Seems to lack self-awareness, but that could just be a fa
