Teela is one of the greatest warriors on the planet of Eternia. She is a childhood friend of Prince Adam and now serves as his bodyguard. She also serves as captain of Eternia's royal palace guard. Teela frequently gets angry at Adam because he always runs off when danger comes about. She does not realize that Adam is really He-Man, the strongest man in the universe.Teela does not realize that the Sorceress of Castle Greyskull is her birth mother. The Sorceress turned Teela over to Man-At-Arms to raise when she was still an infant. Man-At-Arms has loved and raised Teela as though she were his own birth daughter.
