Gabi finds herself smitten to a senator who continually pursues her until she actually goes with him on a date. The two eventually get married but their marriage falls apart when Gabi finds out that all Victor cares about is his career and is only using her to gain political support. She goes back to Carlos, much against Victor's approval. Victor wants to make Gabi's affair against him public, but he is killed in the storm that strikes on Wisteria Lane.
