Antwon 'Skills' Taylor is the son of Charles Chuck Taylor and Marion Taylor.He is a loyal friend, often seen to be giving his friends advice to 'do the right thing'. His childhood friends are Lucas Scott, Ferguson 'Fergie' Thompson, Junk Moretti, James 'Jimmy' Edwards, Marvin 'Mouth' McFadden and Haley James. He is an excellent swimmer and basketball player, and is terrified of animals.In his senior year, he asks Lucas to help him get on the High School Varsity basketball team 'The Ravens' in the hope that through this he can get a basketball schloarship to get into college. He knows without a schloarship he will have to go work in his factory where his father works. Through being on the team, he meets his high school girlfriend, Bevin Mirskey. He gets a schloarship and goes to college.After graduating college, he returns to Tree Hill to take the position of Assistant Coach of the Tree Hill Ravens, with old friend and teammate, Lucas Scott as Head Coach. He lives in an apartment with childhood friends, Mouth, Fergie, Junk and Mouth's girlfriend, Millicent. He has become a good friend of Nathan Scott (Lucas's half brother, Haley's husband) and spends a lot of time looking after their five-year-old son, Jamie playing basketball or NBA live and Guitar Hero.Through an online dating agency, he begins a relationship with Deb Scott (Nathan's Mom), not realising until they decide to meet in person who each other are. However, this relationship ended and Skills began a relationship with Jamie's teacher Lauren.Skills later gets a job as a sports choreographer in Los Angeles, causing him to break up with Lauren.
