Deborah Helen Lee is the ex-wife of Dan Scott, after finally divorcing him in season 3 and the mother of Nathan Scott. She is the former business partner of Karen Roe. In season 2 and 4, she had an addiction to prescribed pain medication, however she overcame this and recovered. When she returned in season 5, Deb became James Lucas Jamie Scott's nanny, and started a relationship with Skills, which strained her relationship with Nathan. However this relationship ended and Deb left near the end of the season. Deb returned in season 9, to help Haley when Nathan was missing, and eventually turned to Dan for help. She makes her final appearance at Dan's bedside when he dies.
