Charlie Dattolo (Christopher Abbott) is Marnie's long-suffering boyfriend. He attended Oberlin College with Hannah, Marnie, Jessa and Elijah. He has been dating Marnie since they were sophomores in college. Marnie does not treat him well and may not even like him. He is needy and slightly desperate and he cannot imagine his life without Marnie. Charlie is best friends with Ray and the two perform in a band called Questionable Goods.
