Coach Bill McGregor, also known as the Tennessee Tyrant, is the new head coach of the Dillon High School Panthers after Coach Taylor has left for Texas Methodist University. Before coming to Dillon, he won many state championships in Tennessee. As his nickname indicates, he is tough on his players, especially Tim Riggins for being drunk or hung over at practice. He is also condescending toward assistant coach Jason Street. After two games in and many disagreements with the boosters, McGregor was fired from coaching the Panthers.
