Colton 'Colt' Rhodes is a former military police office who once served with Boyd Crowder in Kuwait. In fact, Colt threw Boyd in jail a few times. Eventually, Colt was tossed out of the military himself for more than one instance of violent insubordination and goes to work for Boyd in Harlan County as an enforcer. He appears affable and likable -- until crossed or under orders from his friend and boss to do unpleasant things.
