Somewhat bumbling and with an inflated sense of his abilities as a lawman -- but also likable and fiercely loyal -- Bob Sweeney is a constable in Harlan County. He is only too happy to lend his assistance, wanted or not, to U.S. Deputy Marshal Raylan Givens. The pair's relationship extends all the way back to high school and Bob appears to believe the two are not only good friends, but on equitable footing as lawmen.
