Mike is the latest addition to the Miami homicide team. He's the first guy hired by Deb in her new capacity as team Lieutenant. Anderson seems quite aloof. He's not fraternizing with any of the other team members, and somehow he conveys that he's snubbing them. The only person he's been open and honest with, is Deb, his boss.Mike is quick to analyze the Four Horseman crime scene, and is impressed with Dexter's crime analyzing skills.In Season 7, Mike is killed in the season premiere when he comes across Viktor Baskov, whose car seems to have broken down. While looking in Viktor's trunk for a spare, he finds the body of a dead stripper. Baskov guns him down and steals his car.
