Jamie is Batista's younger sister. While working her way through college Dexter employs her as a nanny for Harrison. Jamie has a sweet, tender demeanor and is constantly looking out for Dexter and his family. Which is not to say she is a push-over; Jamie regularly butts heads with those who cross her or her loved ones. She is an excellent care-giver for Harrison, seeming to love him just like a member of her family. She is particularly flexible with her time, a key for Dexter given his unique lifestyle.
