Elliot Oswald is a respectable businessman and land owner in Charming who comes to the club in season one to avenge an attack on his young teen daughter, Tristen. While he ends up appreciative of the club's efforts, they tend to blackmail him with the outcome of their efforts to get whatever help they need from him. In seasons two and three he is often pitted against developer and aspiring politician Jacob Hale, with the club manipulating the situation to suit its own interests.
