Grand Maester Pycelle (Julian Glover)Pycelle is the Grand Maester of the Seven Kingdoms and the King's Small Council.Pycelle is an 84 year Maester who entered the Small Council at the end of King Aegon Targaryen's reign and has remained in place through the reign of current King Robert Baratheon. His effectiveness at court has been apparently dulled by his old age, but he continues to serve under Robert Baratheon. Although aged, Pycelle is not exactly what he seems. He also has a few interests and outside ties that do not befit a man of his position and stature.
