Jill McGowan is the principal of the Midwich School. Her husband, Frank died in a truck accident during the blackout. She is the mother of David, the only member of the alien children without a mate. As a result, Jill is able to teach David the one thing the others couldn't learn - humanity.She takes David away to her car before the barn explodes, killing Dr. Alan Chaffee, his daughter, Mara and the other alien children. While driving away, she tells David they'll go someplace where nobody knows them.
